About Me:

Hi! My name is Kristina Ulmer and I am a passionate educator who has been teaching for 14 years, 13 of which have been as an English language arts teacher at Hatboro-Horsham High School in Horsham, Pennsylvania, A suburb of Philadelphia.

While i'm not wrangling my two crazy daughters, i'm constantly researching and reading about teaching tips, new edtech tools, and other various pedagogical practices.
In my work and educational travels, I've gotten the chance to connect with a lot of educators, expanding my professional learning network to include educators from all over the world. And while we often come together in order to seek solutions to a problem we are having in the classroom, it is our successes that I am most interested in learning about.
Combining my love of tea, idioms, and teaching, Tea with Teacher was born: a place to showcase all of the amazing ideas I am learning. We often see ideas floating around that aren't our "pedagogical cup of tea." Therefore, let's highlight what is working in our classrooms and perhaps we can help other educators in the process.
